Renovation of a building from 1850 with the aim of revaluing it and giving it a sustainable use. Given the poor ground conditions, it was impossible to work with heavy materials.
Hemp blocks are ideal for renovating and insulating old buildings, old brick walls, or damp walls. Due to their high vapour permeability, hemp blocks act as a moisture buffer and ensure a healthy and constant indoor climate, while maintaining a stable humidity level.
Additionally, hemp blocks allow for the preservation of the building's aesthetic appearance.
