In Plougoumelen, an exemplary interior renovation comes to life, embodying the principles of sustainable construction. The project revolves around the use of 9 cm hemp blocks and the filling of a 3 cm cavity with our lime-hemp HL-Mix aggregate. These materials were chosen for their unique properties.
The hemp block, 100% natural and bio-based, provides exceptional moisture and thermal regulation. It ensures top-notch acoustic insulation and greatly contributes to the comfort of the inhabitants.
Florian Bachelet, a master builder renowned for his expertise in ecological constructions, is overseeing this renovation with a particular focus on environmental impact. His dual role as both master builder and self-builder ensures a strong coherence between ecological values and construction techniques in this personal project.
