Renovation of listed buildings converted into a hotel. Insulation was done internally to preserve the façade.
The hemp block provides effective moisture regulation, preventing issues such as thermal bridges, condensation points, and dew points, and ensures excellent preservation of the historic fabric.
It also features remarkable acoustic properties, necessary for the tranquility of the spaces. Blocks of 15 cm were used for internal insulation, while acoustic partitions between rooms were made using 20 cm blocks.
