In the renovation of an authentic half-timbered house in Eschbach in 2023, IsoHemp hemp blocks proved to be a preferred choice, particularly for the precision of their cutting, which perfectly adapts to the unique shapes of the timber framing.
For this project, 9 cm blocks were chosen for filling between the timber frames and 20 cm blocks with HL mix for interior cladding. These solutions offered not only optimal thermal and moisture regulation but also enhanced acoustic insulation and fire resistance.
The easy cutting of hemp blocks allowed for a customised adaptation to the specific needs of the structure, highlighting the flexibility and advantages of IsoHemp in preserving heritage while bringing a touch of modernity and energy efficiency.
