The renovation of the castle's outbuildings in Kruisem, Belgium, has transformed a miller's house and stables into a caretaker's house and several apartments.

This project, led by architect Olivier Bouckaert and contractor Fréderik Vandekeere, incorporated hemp blocks for interior insulation, providing an ecological and sustainable solution.

The work has not only restored the original aesthetic of the buildings but also improved their energy and acoustic efficiency, in line with modern standards of comfort and heritage preservation.
