Among the many bold technical choices, IsoHemp hemp blocks were used in the sanitary areas, highlighting a strong desire to incorporate bio-based, natural and high-performing materials. Thanks to their lightness, the blocks provide excellent acoustic insulation – essential in a mixed-use building.
Led by developer Cores Development, The Arch is the result of a collaborative Bouwteam involving BPC Group, B2Ai, TPF Engineering, RVR, SUREAL and Natura Mater. This multidisciplinary team worked from the design phase to integrate circular principles, plan for material reuse, and optimise the building’s environmental performance.
With The Arch, the vision of sustainability is fully embodied: preserving the existing structure, integrating innovative solutions, and reducing the carbon footprint. An inspiring approach in which the IsoHemp hemp block naturally finds its place.
