New construction of an industrial building resulting from the collaboration between IsoHemp SA and Contern SA.
Building made of hemp blocks with a load-bearing structure of concrete blocks. A 30 cm thick masonry wall, 25 meters wide and 14 meters high, separates the heated offices from the storage area. This single masonry wall provides thermal and acoustic insulation between the two spaces and meets fire safety standards.
The masonry was plastered on one side and painted with a spray gun on the other for optimal acoustic absorption. The combination of concrete and hemp blocks offers a high-performance and innovative construction solution for the future Luxroutage logistics centre.
