In Liège, notable improvements have been made to optimise acoustic comfort in several school classrooms. The interior acoustic insulation was achieved using 12 cm hemp blocks, which significantly enhances the acoustic quality of the educational spaces.
Hemp blocks were selected for their excellent acoustic insulation properties, contributing to a more serene learning environment. The architect and contractor collaborated to effectively integrate these natural materials, ensuring optimal insulation while adhering to comfort and durability standards.
The use of hemp blocks in this project highlights the material's advantages: effective thermal and moisture regulation, increased fire resistance, and extended lifespan. These features make hemp blocks an ideal solution for improving living comfort in school buildings while remaining 100% natural.
