For this expansion project, the owner, who is also a self-builder, opted for a post and beam wood structure, incorporating 7.5 and 12 cm hemp blocks from IsoHemp, in collaboration with the Swedish partner Målarkalk.
These hemp blocks, known for their bio-based and 100% natural character, offer not only excellent thermal and hygroscopic regulation but also superior fire resistance and sound insulation. These features significantly contribute to the living comfort of the home while promising an extended lifespan of the structure.
This realization highlights IsoHemp's commitment to the environment and the well-being of occupants, providing construction solutions that combine sustainability, performance, and aesthetics.
