In Lentilly, the construction of an industrial activity building as part of the expansion of the business is taking shape.
The construction of the building was planned based on our HEMPRO 36cm solution, allowing the pouring and formwork of the load-bearing concrete elements of the building. All roof support beams, vertical columns, and bracing walls were thus able to be poured into the various blocks that make up the HEMPRO range.
The client certainly wanted a building that allows for beautiful, practical, and economical volumes, but also desired an envelope that is as environmentally neutral as possible and comfortable for employees. Thus, acoustic considerations, both in terms of interior/exterior noise isolation and the reduction of sound levels within the premises, were important selection criteria.
Some walls will remain raw, with just a breathable spray paint finish, while the office areas will be plastered with natural coatings.
Fire safety is not forgotten, as a plastered HEMPRO block has a 4-hour fire rating validated by the CSTB.
Beyond these aspects, which are very specific to the activity, the HEMPRO solution provides overall comfort both in winter and summer, with the high thermal inertia of the walls ensuring a very pleasant working environment.
