Renovation - Old horse stables - Ghent

Renovation of a building dating from 1850 with the aim of upgrading it and giving it a sustainable use. Because of the bad terrain, it was impossible to work with heavy materials. Hemp block is ideal for renovating and insulating old buildings, old brick walls or damp walls. Thanks to its high water vapour permeability, hemp block acts as a water buffer and ensures a healthy and constant indoor climate, while maintaining a stable humidity level. In addition, hemp blocks allow the aesthetic appearance of the building to be maintained.
